rings, no sound, hangs up

Claimed he was from a debt collection service, & he had reported my account to ATO, we're a Drug and alcohol counselling service, don't have any account, Govt funded

I have a silent number and still received calls everyday this week, thanks for letting me know the above

This call showed as coming from Sydney, NSW. When I answered there were several seconds of silence followed by background noise which sounded rather like a call centre. I remarked to someone near to me that it was probably a scam call (they may have heard me) and the call was promptly terminated from the other end. I would say that it was probably someone in the process of setting up some sort of scam.

They keep calling me saying they’re telstra. I asked for their telstra Id number, which she promptly gave me some random number. Now, telstra employees are not aloud to give out their id numbers!!!
