I just called the number for giggles and laughed at the guy as he threatened me with legal action for tax evasion and fraud. I asked him why a notification wasn't sent to my accountant and he told me that he has called the FBI and they would arrive immediately to arrest me. This caused me to laugh even harder given the FBI is an American agency and has no standing in Australia. He then hung up.

A friend was called from this number. The person advised that he owed $4,000 and threatened legal action. The number does not appear to be listed. Scam?
