received call from this number. called back and it said the number does not exist.. annoying...

I'm from Australia.I have two missed calls from the same number around 3pm. I tried calling back and there were no dial tone. 02 9118 seems to be the first digits to commonwealth bank numbers. I'm not sure.

Relax it is just the outgoing line for CBA - not a scam or telemarketing - geez guys its just a phone call....

Yeah I just got a phone call from the same number. The guy seemed confused as if he'd rang the wrong number. I told him my first name and company name and then he hung up. I'd say it's a telemarketer gathering info for a later campaign

It's the commonwealth bank. I just got a call and it was my husband, who has just started working there. Sooo funny. All these blogs. Thank God for the internet.

(02) 9118 1800 is the Commonwealth Bank main outgoing number. marketing, debt collection and staff making calls from their desk all route through this number. Depending on your relationship with Comm Bank you can decide whether or not to answer next time
