Im just starting to get the calls again, pain in the butt.

I've been getting this call regularly during my work hours. Its so annoying and stupid!

4months almost every day this number called my phone, until i changed the number...  "hosted contact centre service", which is a fancy way of saying "call centre"...  the only way that telstra will address it, is that you call telstra informing them that *someone* is doing this.  then telstra puts a 28day monitor on your line, during which time you need to record what time the calls came through..  then, call telstra back with "between 5 - ten calls, in a pattern" of this type that you've noted the time for.  then telstra sends a 'warning letter' to the owner of the number, whatever phone provider they're with..  and if it continues, you start the process again, and another warning letter (lol)... and finally, if it continues after the 2nd letter... telstra will "take action"...  funny they telstra don't say to you "oh, so this number has been making nuisance calls to you, hey.  alright then, we can block that caller from now on"... anyway, corporate stalkers - v annoying company...

i have had to resort to taking my phone off the hook as it is the only way my 1 month old son can get some sleep. im so pX*&sed off that if they offered me a million dollars i would tell them to shove it. I listed my number with the government to stop tele marketers and it worked beautifully for about 5 months now its started again. should start a class action and sue for harrassment.

I got called on my mobile for the first time today- sounded all tinny, scratchy and basic- and the woman was definitely Indian- she had my full name, but pronounced it incorrectly- then the call dropped out.Called it back on the home phone (private number) and got the message that others have gotten above- "you have been contacted by Hosted Contact... and you may be contacted again in the future".I'm praying it won't happen again.And I certainly hope we aren't being charged for answering!
