Caller: NOT The Commonwealth Bank

Automated message saying that it was Commonerslth bank and they’d detected an unauthorised transaction for $1800 on my card. If I did not authorise transaction it asked me to press “1”, which I did. It immediately connected me with a female, who asked me if I authorised a transaction and if I remembered what the last transaction on my account was. The lady was difficult to understand and her wording wasn’t quite ‘bank script’ enough, making me cautious, so I hung up and called commonwealth bank, who confirmed it was a scam.

"Optus wishes to advise that the mobile number you have dialled has been disconnected." This is OBVIOUSLY NOT A MOBILE NUMBER. Do not answer.
