4-year old Chinese-Secret-State-Police scam targeting Chinese-borne & Chinese-speakers living in Australia.

Claims I have not paid my taxes and will get deported to China soon. I told `em if they know where I live, they can come and I will meet them "enthusiastically".

Caller: said that they were from border force

said that a package in my name had been seized for illegal substance but wouldn't provide my name

Called me, not answered, then leave a message with strange machine. Looked like a scam call

Said it’s from CoinBase. Scam 😠

Caller: I don’t know

Lady said something in Chinese and it translated in English saying I should I need to change

They pretend to be from ANZ fraud. They try to get you to instal Pay ID and accept their transaction.

Would not provide details of my IP address, said I had to change it. Hung up and said I would talk to TPG
