Caller: Make, foreign accent Received a call from this number. The caller knew my full name and an old email address. He claimed the email had been used to open accounts (e.g. Facebook) and implied suspicious activity. I said I no longer use the email and was ending the call. As I hung up, he kept trying to explain.
I couldn’t find any reports about this number online, so I turned off caller ID and tried calling back — the number had then been disconnected. Have now blocked.

I also received a call, I didn’t answer as I didn’t know the number. They left a voicemail with customer service at the beginning in English, then the rest in a Chinese accent. This is what the voice mail said and I quote:- “ Out for many times but has not been signed for to inquire about service please press one for English customer service and press two for Chinese customer service. That’s the English part. As I said earlier, the last part of the message is sooken in a Chinese accent. Luckily for me, it’s also written as a message at the bottom of my voicemail or I wouldn’t have known what she was saying, lol. So, It says “You have any **** EHL told you, you know he took like crazy petrol to change catching food. I need to cook food tonight.…” I got to admit, I kinda want to answer it if I they call back and tell her, in a frantic voice, foods been sent to her!!! And I’ll see her later cause I’m coming for tea, lol. Or something better to freak them out a little, bloody scammers 🤭 Had another call from a Victorian number the other day. Voices sounded the exactly the same. That call was about dancing class or lessons, not food, lol.

I recieved a call from the number (02) 9099 6503 at 6:02pm on 2.7.25 and when I answered there was a recording with a young female Asian voice saying - "this is the department of home affairs ...". I hung up and did not hear the rest of the recording. A nuisance call for the purpose of harrassment.

Called saying my number is about to be disconnected and that it will be removed. Hung up and blocked them after that.

I also receive a call from this number, but came up as SPAM on my phone so didn't answer. When I rang it the call could not be connected! Checked the number and found this thread.
