Called two days in a row claiming to be from Department of Home affairs. Asian lady who called me asked "What can I do for you?"
Me : " You called me"
Lady: " Can you speak in Chinese. I don't know English"
BIG SCAMMER , blocked the number straight away.

Be careful. They call using the same number all but the last digit to appear as an Office using multiple phone lines.

Left a voicemail, with instructions to press one for English, press two for Chinese, then proceeded with speaking Chinese.

Called and hung up after answering. This crap is out of control

called pretending to be from Telstra, advised that my IP address went from private to public, and advise that all my personal data was available. Hung up after i tried to see how far this would go

I received the phone call from this number, the machine says my phone will disconnect in 2 hours….

Caller (Indian accent) said she was from the Visa and Mastercard department. I started laughing, said 'you've got to be kidding', and she hung up. 100% scam.

Missed the call. When I called the number back, I got the recorded message "Your call could not be connected. Please check the number and try again"

called yesterday 7/7/25 and phone picked up as "potential fraud". Didn't answer.

Said I have an important document from immigration agency. Scam.

Didn't answer but it left a voice mail telling me to press buttons to listen in English or Chinese. Getting the same call from multiple numbers

Call from this number, which last week started with an 03 (VIC), and now this time 02 (NSW), audio message saying my phone service will be disconnected today if I don’t act, press 1 for English, press 2 for Chinese. It's a scam call, phishing call seeking to obtain personal information. Do not answer and block number.

First scam call I've had since the air crash incident in India... strange.
