I'm about to be arrested for tax avoidance. Oh no!!!!!!! Guess my tax accountant will be going to jail too!

Received scam recorded message today with American accent LOL. Had a similar message few months ago as well but with female voice. Called back and had some guy actually pick up the phone and copped a wave of abuse from me. Perhaps of little use but made me feel good though. Might call again and play along for while ....then let rip.

Contacted my elderly mum today threatening arrest. No dial tone if you try to ring back. Very uncool

Automated voice, no dial tone when I called back.

TOTAL Scam. Do not engage. One day they might learn that Aussie's are not that stupid.

ATO Indian accent, pay $2000 voucher from Woolworth to avoid arrest: hahaha

I have just had the same text and they tried to call twice in a row and I missed it. The text did claim unpaid tax etc, etc.

Received the same call 28.02.17
