Said I was involved in an accident recently. When I said no, they hung up

I'm getting them too.... scam for sure

They keep ringing but when I ring back there is always no answer

I've received a dozen calls from this number since 2 March. I ignore every time, as I assume it's a scam.

Called me regarding a car accident I was recently involved in. I haven't had a licence for over 20 years. I asked him why he was scamming people. He wanted out of that conversation. Company name was "First Response"

Definitely a scammer, calling asking if you've had an accident in the last whatever time. I've had so many of this scam. Piss them off!

Got a call (foreign) yesterday from (02) 8311 0244 about someone has used my name and address to make a claim about an injury occurring at my address.
He could confirm my details after I asked but I advised him information re accident is incorrect and to not call me again.
Today have just received another call from this new number (02) 9099 5654 which I have not answered.
Avoid answering if you can, or log complaint with ombudsman.

Yep - they've called me several times over the last 6 months. English accent, asking about an insurance claim I've made (non existent). Going onto my spam list

Had the same call - when I asked why exactly she were calling, ie. what the purpose of their call was and why they were asking about personal insurance claims for an accident, there was hesitation and a hang up. Sounded like TV noises in the back. Definitely English calling via internet as there's an initial delay. Totally dodgy scam.

Called me today. Told me I had been involved in a traffic incident in the last 8 months. I asked where they got their information from. They advised they were not able to disclose that. I told them I wasn't able to disclose or confirm any of the information they were giving me so they hung up. Same Pommy accent as previous post.

Hang up. On more than one occasion

Phone calls to my mobile, a couple of weeks apart. Total silence on other end, in response to my repeated Hello.

Asking about a car accident I never had, more than likely trying to trawl more details about me.

Don't know who they are, calling every day for a week now and don't leave a message...they have been blocked now!!
