Scam caller claiming to be paypal security

From noise in background was from a call centre claiming to be from Paypal Investigation team. Very slick operation, stating they have observed attempted overseas transactions to take money out of my paypal account. Asked me what browser I used, wanted me to open it and give them the id number - as I was suspicious from the start I checked my paypal account without them knowing whilst they were talking, all ok there so returned to the call and impolitely told them where to go. NEVER give sensitive personal information to unknown callers, I'm glad I have 2 factor authentication activated for my paypal account.

Voicemail saying it was trying to debit me 1000$, just a scam.

Received call from this number 26-May-2025. Flagged as suspected spam so did not answer.

Asking for approval for an upcoming payment

Called, didn’t leave voicemail- assumed scammer

Phone flagged as spam. They didn't leave a meeaage.

I didn’t pick up but it left a voicemail. Robocall saying that an unauthorised debit transaction had been detected ($300). Later in the call it claimed to be from commbank. I don’t use CommBank. Sounds like a scam
