That is a scam to try and get your voice confirmation details for phone banking transactions by asking "can you hear me" and you say obviously "yes". I would be checking my bank account now more closely from now on to check for any dodgy transactions

Rang me 20th Jan 2018. I answered. Said hello, caller just hung up.
Could be to see if your home, and if you aint, lookout

Rang at 7:10pm asked "can you hear me" my partner said yes, then they hung up.... Called the number back it says market research.

got Call to my mobile today ---said he was from road and maritime --wanting a male who drives to do a survey or such like -I just murmured -then he said in a smart fashion ---OH come on --I asked who are you from -as I thought him odd ----he hung up-- ps he sounded like say about 20's or so -yrs old --

Calling at 8.10 pm

Caller mentioned I had approached Dept.of Aged Care, which I hadn't, I asked him to repeat what he had just said and he hung up in my ear.

they are a legit market research company. I agreed to participate in a survey for "my aged care" and they called to follow up

They called identifying themselves as from the Health department. I said I was busy. I then called the number and got a recorded message for "Australian Market Research", not Health Department.

Rang 3 times within an hour! I didn't answer 😡

They call every single day sometimes 2 or 3 times a day

Two calls from them. Never leave a message.

Hung up when I answered

They won't quit!
