Apparently SES dont call for fundraising

I am blocking numbers if I don't recognise it or there is no ID, after I check on here!! According to my phone, they rang for 27 sec, then hung up.

Selling raffle tickets to raise money for the SES. Just called SES Head Office. There is a company who fundraise for the SES, however it is not through them directly as they do not advocate poll calling.

Why can't we find out who these people are who ring and hang up? Why are their details not available like mine are in the phone directory? I get at least 1 call like this every day, sometimes 3 or 4. I've even had scam callers ring as late as 9pm and on Saturday afternoon. One woman with the usual accent, even swore at me when I challenged her. I've had enough, something must be done as most are from Australian numbers.

This number is a Pager that's why there is no answer. It simply records your number then the bastards phone you. Just block it and that will end your worries for this number.

Three missed calls from this number today and also three yesterday, despite being on the Do not Call Register!

They have the option to leave a message on my mobile or landline. If they wont leave a message, I wont ring back! Simple!!
