Called, picked up handpiece, when I spoke " hello, they hung up. Go figure? Or are they trying to see if our phone line is active to scam someone ?

Crackling call clearly from a call centre, trying to sell me solar panels, claims they got my number from some home owners list. Frankly I don't think the Do Not Call Register works. I no longer feel sorry for the people working in these call centres - patience has been worn thin.
