Received missed call from the number
Called back no answer

"Hi this is a call from Amazon". I don't use Amazon and the full message indicates it's actually a scam call.

Imposter of Commonwealth Bank-Says they have blocked an international transfer to amazon and need you to download the anydesk app- assume it's to get into your phone remotely. I spoke to them for long enough to find out what they were trying to do and told them I would call my bank.

No message left looked up number on here and thankfully read these comments so can block number thank you

Robotic voice says that unauthorised payments have been made from my Visa card...I don't have a Visa card...Lol! Scammers

saying they have important documents
Never been to China
No intention of going there

This number is a Chinese f*cking guy ，he is trying to ask money transfer， firstly this guy got your detail and will notice you are incharge，and ask you to paid money，otherwise you will be charge by police，what a stupid guy！

Caller: Scammers claiming to be amazon

Claims i have pending payment of 700+ dollars for iphone 11 through amazon.

Automated voice said Visa calling about overseas transaction taht looks suspicious. Press 1 to approve or 2 to cancel.........

As this is a landline number it should be available. I have blocked as recorded message said there were suspicious transactions on my credit card.

rang twice within 2 mins I know no one in NSW where this caller rang from no msg left

(02) 9071 2996 Called 30/5/22. Location came up as Sydney. As phone was ringing, I quickly googled the number and it came up on several different search options all of which were listed in languages other than English. So I definitely didn’t answer! Pretty sure that this was going to be a scam call.
