(02) 9071 2986 - i do not answer if number is unknown. no message left. after researching the number, it appears as a scam in the list of comments here.

Automated message claiming to be from Amazon about charging me $99. Don't know why I even bothered answering as I don't usually. Deleted and blocked.

Indian female scam caller from Telstra

Caller: Amazon??? to tell me my account was about to be accessed for payment!

This number (02) 9071 2986) rings daily at 10.50am, to tell me that my account is about to be accessed for payment. When you ring the number it is engaged. This is a scam and I hope they rot in hell.

Missed call. No message. Why is this number still active given these reports?

this f*cking number came through whilst i was working and it kept on calling about one thing or another...keeping on ..rang and rang a few of the times and it has been now on a daily basis. How do you report this crap to the police?

Yes suspect. Yesterday I got caught talking to a scammer. Was asked to download AnyDesk app!!
Remote access told them I was calling AFP, scamwatch. The line went dead.

Scam call claiming to be from Amazon billing service (I don't use Amazon).

Possibly scam call... Not the first time calling me.. I never answered and never will. Blocked.

Caller: Some dogs in India

Automated message saying I owed $500 or something ridiculous. I've never had an Amazon Prime account. I've received hundreds of these same type of calls over the past few years. They need to get a new scam. I usually press 1 to talk to their "customer service", and then rip into them and then hang up. Absolute dogs.
