Scam. Voicemail message said - Amazon Prime Services will be auto renewed and bank account will be debited $99.99. If you want to cancel press 1.

can see alot of ex pats falling for this rubbish

they rang me prior in the day from (02) 9071 2986 claimed to be from telstra i dont have telstra, rang me again from 90712907 but just hung up after i said hello

Tried to get me to test the speed of my internet I told him that's not happening
Knew my name and address that was unsettling
Tried to get personal information i just hung up and switched my phone off for a while

Caller said I was having issues with my internet.
My reply was No I am not, using it right now,

Caller, yes you are and we need you to turn on computer for us to fix the problem.

My reply was, NO that wont be happening and this call is being recorded for the police.

Staff member, hung up?? mmm wonder why :) ha ha

Claimed to be from Amazon querying an order on my account for an iPhone 11. Then wanted to know what sort of mobile I had. Sounded very dodgy

Caller: Said he was from Telstra Technical Department.

Told me my internet was being used from somewhere overseas.

They just keep calling like 1 a day at different times. I have now set up my phone to automatically reject it as spam and it doesn't ring anymore. It goes into my spam folder. I did however answer 1 of this call from this number earlier on and it sounded like an overseas call centre. No idea what business.

Scam. Said they were Telstra and it was my account. This is a work phone so definitely no chance of me being the account holder and wrong phone provider!

called no message - I don't answer call that aren't registered on my phone - and always block them.
This is getting ridiculous - so many callers, not only to me but friends with the same thing.
Why isn't anything being done about it by Telstra etc - beats me.

same as above they rang from 2 different numbers one was from Perth to cancel my amazon subscription - which I dont have and the second call was from this number with the same message
