Amazon call as per previous previous reviews. Definite scam!

Indian lady with call centre background noise, said she was calling for the government solar rebate. Knew it was a scam so told her I didn’t own a house and she promptly hung up.

Asian sounding female claimed to be from QBE regarding a carpet insurance claim in February this year, requesting I confirm my full name and address. Either that was a good stab in the dark or they are being fed information because this area was flooded. I don't use QBE and I declined to confirm anything at all.

Caller: First Amazon, later ATO

I'm in big trouble and looking at 15 years behind bars apparently for not paying taxes..I'm currently putting my affairs in order.. ;)

The one I received from this number was a recording with a lady saying that you for using Paypal for your payment I hung up and blocked number

From the ATO saying I had been audited that that I owe them money. Also mail had been returned regarding the above. I was to press 1 to address straight away or I would be arrested. Number is now blocked

Keeps calling and I keep blocking. Never leaves any message.

Sydney based land line call, automated message claiming to be Amazon and advising of Prime membership renewal for $99.99.

Said renewal due today, press 1 to be transferred to "Cancellation" team.

Nice try, but Prime membership is only $59.00 AUD, and why would Amazon call offering to cancel your membership renewal?
