Supposedly Telstra about internet issues. I told them I don’t use Telstra. They paused for 8 seconds or so and then went into some garbage about Telstra being the main provider of internet in Australia and there is overseas people trying to access my internet. I hung up on them after that.

Caller quoted as follows: " This is a courtesy call from Ebay to advise that the amount of $299.36 has been debited to your Ebay account (good luck with that, I don't even have an Ebay account) and if this debit is unauthorised, then please press 1 and follow the prompts" Yeh, right, will do!!!.

A lady called Lidia got my number from my husband and offered 40% discount on Telstra services. When I told her that my husband's number isn't on any telstra accounts she changed the subject and continued to want me to provide her with details. I told her that I thought she was a scammer and hung up.

Recorded message said my Visa card had two transactions which they thought were unauthorised. Was asked to press # 2 to cancel the payments. When I did that the recording said please wait to be transferred to customer service. I hung up.
