I’m sick to death with all this scammer crap…
Why aren’t the telcos & government stopping this sh*t like they said they would….

Foreign accent. Lots of background noise. Claiming to be eBay, said my account has been compromised and someone placed an order of a $500 gift card. Asked when I last logged on to my account, did I access my account using a shared network, did I shared my login information with anyone other than my family members etc etc. All dumb questions that didn’t even make sense. When you came up with excuses to refuse to do what they asked, I heard there was someone next to the caller instucting how she should respond to the refusal. Scammer in training. 🤪Hung up half way ‘cause I had other calls to answer. And immediately they tried calling me back from different mobile numbers……

Just got the same call and your description is spot on.

Didn't answer. Phone identified it as spam

Got one of these calls this morning phone briefly rang

Unknown caller. No message left. Blocked.

Called and when I answered nobody was on the other line and the line hung up after 3 seconds

If you're with Telstra, they'll block these calls. The problem is that after a few months they find you again, so you have to call Telstra again to get them blocked. It does work though.

When phone rang a message came up: Potential Fraud. It also said that this phone number had been reported as a suspected scam, so I did not answer and have blocked the number.

anonymous caller claiming to be from telstra giving away 50% discount on bill hahaha. Telstra would never give their customers 50% discount on their bill!!!
