He said he was calling from Commonwealth bank. And said that my account had an outstanding need to be pay. He has an Indian accent.

I no longer answer unknown numbers. They called, no message left. Checked here. Good decision

Answered the call & I could here was like a call centre in the background...no-one said anything and neither did I so they hung up...no doubt a scam call.

Recieved a call today. Said they were from Amazon and there had been a phone ordered on my account to my address and if I wanted to cancel it. They also knew my name which was slightly scary. Wanted me to click a link to approve the cancellation. I hung up

Calls from this number are constant. I usually don’t answer but I got caught if guard today. No one spoke just disconnected and when I called back..”call cannot be connected “.
After reading comments here, I’ve definitely blocked the number now.

Missed call and left this "This call is from the Visa and Master Card Security Department. To verify your recent."

Same as previous reports. Got a call 1 min earlier from 0468 449 458 so that might be dodgy too.

Received a call from this number - did not answer it - appeared on my phone screen as a SUSPECTED SPAM - caller did not leave a message. When i called the number back - it advised me that my call could not be connected and to try again later

Claimed to be from PayPal in regard to a $1500 transaction. Terminated call.

Someone with Indian accent called, he said that he calls from Commonwealth Bank and that I made a payment of $800 to someone in the USA. I didn't continue further, I understood it was a scam.
