Indian Scammer claiming to be from Telstra

Caller: unknown

An Indian guy called me twice and introduce himself from Commbank Sybersecurity.

Claims to be from Telstra. Says internet password is compromised. Threatens to cut off internet if you don’t cooperate with their request. I hung up.

Caller: Scammer

Claimed he was from PayPal. Supposedly reporting a fraudulent transaction

Claiming that he called on behalf of a governmental department that looks after all internet connections in Australia and mine has been compromised

This is why I don’t answer any calls not on my contact list and if they can’t be bothered to leave a message then they are either spam or scam - now another blocked number 🤬🤬

I had the same call today.

Caller claimed that my Telstra internet is compromised and if I have changed password recently. I said I am not with Telstra. She claimed that any internet connections in Australia will be going to Telstra, even if you are with Optus or other ones. Hence, she is calling EVERYONE hahaha. I hung up

Caller: Allegedly from eBay

I was told that my account will be charged by eBay for $ 1000. I do not even have the eBay account.

Scammer from India (but he told me he was from the Phillipines when I called him out after pretening to be sucked in for 15 minutes while I chopped tomatoes and drank wine). Purporting to be from Telstra. Told me there was unexpected activity on my line (even though I don't have Telstra Internet) and I would have a massive bill unless he could help me fix it. Usual BS of trying to get my TeamViewer ID and password. He insisted his name was Jason Dongle. I kid you not.

SCAM: Automated message from Visa claiming there are 2 charges on my Visa card. I have received these calls before but from a different number. Visa doesn't ring people, they put a block on your card and wait for you to call them.

Caller: Republic of China in Australia???

So glad I googled the number...
After the message in English saying it was the Republic of China the person...was speaking Chinese... which I don't speak but after searching the number I feel better that I hung up on them...

Caller: Man with an accent

Said his name was Christopher and he worked for the Comm bank, said someone had put $450 on my card….. I laughed at him and he hung up.

Man calling himself John. Claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank security department.

Scammer call

Claimed that my internet was compromised, when I told him that I was going to report him to the AFP, he abused me.

Caller: No idea who they are

The person was speaking Chinese to me. I hung up. I searched for the number online and came across this site.

Claims to be Telstra and indian lady tells me my IP address is compromised to the public and when I told her I don't have internet she got very angry with me and started to talk about my mobile phone internet.

Caller: said they were from amazon

that my account had been debited $99.99...etc...i have had 3 in the last day and half...i keep blocking the numbers and they ring on another
