They said Amazon and wet calling about my iPhone 12 order - never ordered and that they were charging my card

Got a call on my mobile at 11.39am...didn't hear it ring, so rang back and it went straight to an engaged sound. I have called it ' scammer' so I know for next time.

Apparently my Visa card had an unusual charge. I don't have a Visa

Women said she was calling for a eBay verification call…I dint use eBay.

Absolute scam! They will ask to open your browser and put your phone on speaker. Don't trust them

this number kept calling me and I type this phone number to find out who was calling me, and thank god I didn't answer this call - I've blocked it and deleted ............

Female stated she was calling about my VISA, told her that I don't believe she is calling about my VISA, she insisted she was and became argumentative and repeatedly said F%$K off

Claimed to be Commonwealth Bank. I claimed to be the Federal Police and they hung up.

Claimed to be from Mastercard wanting to verify some online shopping transaction.

Caller: (Claimed to be from) NBN

Caller claimed to be from NBN & was calling because they had noticed fluctuations on my internet & also to upgrade me from copper to optic fibre. (I am already on optic fibre but I didn't say.) The male caller said it was a free service & asked me what were the colour of the lights on my modem. I quickly said green & he hung up. Perhaps I answered too quickly. DEFINATELY a SCAMMER. By other comments the callers seem to alternate between Amazon and NBN.

Person on the other end claiming to be Amazon. Likely a phishing attempt.

The google phone app blocked it as spam. They didn't leave a message.

automated message - said they were Amazon Prime and that my monthly charge of $99 was going to go on my card. press to opt out. I just hung up. scammers

Received a call about an amazon prime account being renewed for $99.99, which will be charged to a credit card today. i did not respond except when i initially answered and responded with my normal greeting, as the call was to the office phone. instructed to dial 1 if i wished to opt out. voice sounded automated and call ended automatically because i did not dial 1 or didn't say anything else.
