Phone "dinged". Caller had opportunity to leave message. Did not. Checked on this site, and is obviously a scam.

Caller: Commonwealth Bank Security

telling me that Jim Smith from California is trying to access $800 from my account and wanting me to connect to the Commonwealth Security network - when I connect it will show his job title and details to confirm he works for the bank. I asked him where he was - he said 330 Collins Street, Melbourne - asked him for a phone number so I could call him back - gave me 612233 - not a real number - they do get rude and speak over you if you question them

Caller: SUpposedly eBay

This guy (Indian accent) was an absolute riot. Calling from eBay but never found out why. Asked if I'd bought something on eBay and when I asked why he asked if I had a computer. When I told him that was obvious, he man-splained how I could use eBay on a mobile. I asked what section of eBay he worked for and he said 'Section E' and got upset when I started laughing. He then questioned my education but didn't know what a PhD was (I tried to woman-splain), told me I had no manners and asked what sort of values was I instilling in my children. Told him at least they weren't criminals. Put him on speaker and he called my partner an idiot. We were laughing too much to continue. Worth the entertainment value if nothing else!

It was a phone recording saying it was from Visa Master Card and asking me to verify a transaction of $1399 on my card by pressing 1 (No) or 2 (Yes). I hanged up.

Caller: They said it was Amazon

Got call from mobile number and then this number with same message that my Amazon account for Prime was due to be paid, $99 from my account today and to press one if I want to cancel.
Bit funny as they are calling my work phone that I don't use for any personal things and I don't have a Prime account.

Apparently from Amazon telling me I'd made a $799 iphone purchase. Knew it was a scam, but confirmed when they mentioned the name that's someone has used to submit my number somewhere and hence all the spammy calls.
