Caller: Indian guy

Called saying hers from commbank and mr James has attempted to take $800+ from my account because he’s my cousin and the Indian guy wanted to verify my details. I told him I don’t trust him or know him and I will call my bank and sort it out and I hung up on him.
Total scam.
Be careful.

Caller: An Indian man

He told me he was from my bank's fraud unit after receiving a call from Ebay about some suspicious activity and wanted access to my phone to reimburse me the $799 that was withdrawn from my account. No amount was withdrawn from my account, the liar, and so I hung up on him!

Caller: Apparently, it was Ebay

I had the same phone call from an Indian guy, apparently from Ebay, saying he was refunding me $400, which I didn't purchase or authorise - nor was it debited from my account! He wanted access to my phone data to check my bank details, my IP address, etc. I hung up on him!

thursday- suspicious activity on isa
friday- Telstra: check console as there's suspicious activity on my laptop

tried to call back with id blacked out and no reply

Didn't answer but i see it is a scam number. Why doesn't the commission act on this?

Hung up as soon as I answered. Watch now as I get a bunch more scam calls in the next week or so, now they know mine is an actual phone number

Saying it was eBay automated message a charge of $399 will be severed to my account press 1 to cancel . Scam
