Caller: Scammer saying it was from Telstra

They said I was one of their customers (I am not)
they asked me to install an app in my iPhone
They said my wifi was compromised because I shared my password

Claimed to be from technical department of my NBN provider - funny, I don't have NBN.

Pick up but nobody say anything

From this same number she said she was from the Commonwealth bank and did I authorise an $800 to America. I said no and hung up on her. Sounded Indian.

After I answered it took a long moment to connect and for the person calling to reply to my hello. Called me by my last name (my first name is a very common female first name in Australia) and it was incorrect pronunciation not even close, I didn't wait to hear the spiel I hung up immediately.

Rang my router to download malware

I get a lot of calls from unknowns

Indian accent claimed to be from CBA and wanted me to check if an unauthorized transaction had occurred. I played along (I’m not with CBA) and faked alarm. They told me I could download an app to secure the online banking app on my phone. Definitely a scammer.

I didn't recognise the number so I didn't answer.

Called saying they are from Mastercard/visa about some transaction I didn’t make. I hung up… figured If they were legit they would call back.

Said they were from the commonwealth bank and that they were ringing me regarding transactions I made on my account….! Funny that I am not a commonwealth bank customer and never have been..! Blocked scammers

BEWARE - Caller says he is from Commonwealth Bank and confirming whether I made a transaction of $500.00 this morning.

Caller took a couple of seconds to come on the line - definitely Indian male. Claimed to be calling as they have noticed suspicious activity coming from my NBN. Didn't want to listen to a question and clearly was reading from a script. Hung up and blocked...

Dont know as when i asked who it is they hang up but they are Indian like most of the scammers are

Said they were from national security for visa and MasterCard. Said $199 transaction from Amazon was deemed suspicious. They hung up when I asked why I wasn’t receiving a call from my bank.

Scammer with Indian accent claiming to be from Telstra and saying my internet and wifi has been compromised by hackers , I laughed and hung up . They kept calling from different hijacked numbers persistently and spitefully afterwards several times a day
