Scammer. A lady called and asked for someone that was not me. I told her she had the wrong number and she said since I am on the phone, she told me that I had lost6 money from securities such as crypto. I responded with legitimate questions. what company are you calling from and where did you get my number? She didn't know what to say and hung-up. The next day around the same time i got a call from the same number. asking for the same person again. the conversation started the same, but this time I asked her you asked for the same person again. I then said you asked for so and so and I told you you have the wrong number, how did your system identify I had lost money when you asked for someone else? she hung up. If she call back tomorrow, I will speak to her in Tagalog

Caller: “Kevin Jones” A financial recovery program- very clearly a scam. You can hear all of the other scammers chatting away in the background. When I said I’m on a “do not call list” he kept talking and I said stop ringing me (as this was the second time in two days).

Caller: Someone calling themselves Sam Smith Got a call from a call centre. Think it was based in the Phillipines if my accent recognition skills are correct. They said they were a financial recovery agency and asked me if I had lost money to a big company. I said “what do you mean? Not that I’m aware of” They said “are you sure cause you are operating under the Australian Securities Investment Commision”. I thought that was a weird thing to say. So I said “what do you mean lost money? How?” She said “you know from shares or business or cryptocurrency, things like that” I said “not that I’m aware of” and she said “so you’re saying it didn’t happen?” I said again “not that I am aware of” and she said “ok thanks for answering the call” and we both hung up. Weirdest scam call ever.
