Caller said her name was "Amy Wilson" but had a thick foreign accent. Sounded like she was in a noisy "boiler room" sitting alongside other scammers. Hung up and blocked immediately.

Caller: Claimed to be nbn security

Very suspicious, said my number was being used for fraudulent purposes. I said I didn’t believe them, they then hung up on me

It sounded like a female robot voice.. said her name was Olivia and there was a request to transfer money into my Commonwealth bank. I hung up and blocked the number right away.

Claimed I have 2 fraudulent Visa transactions on eBay - one for $365 and another for $1254 or something like that.
Press 1 to talk to someone if these transactions weren’t mine.
I hung up and then I go the same call from 0413 071 545

Called me saying about the overseas purchase of $1300 on Visa card. Spam

Message said system shows I made a $400/ EBay payment $ a bank debit of $1,000(+). Type 1 if that was not you…

Missed call, no message. Will be blocking this number.

Caller: Allegedly Telstra

When I queried the validity of the call centre gentleman's "Telstra" credentials (he was allegedly calling about "the Internet") he told me to ... well, let's just say he used a naughty word before hanging up in my ear. Tsk tsk!

Said my home internet was being used by overseas people and they needed to immediately stop that. She said she was from Telstra and her name was Rose Parker and gave me her ID number. I told her I couldn’t talk as I was at work and she kept pushing me to tell her when she could call back. I hung up on her and blocked the number.

Caller: Claim from Telstra customer service, very rude

Had very noisy background, sounded like many others talking. Referred to me as Mam, but apparently was calling from Telstra in regards to my internet speed. Asked me when was the last time I checked the speed on my internet. Then telling me my internet was being worked on already, and they were improving the speed. Then were wanting me to check while on the phone. I said I was fine with whatever it is currently and they hung up on me. My guess would be they were wanting me to download something to ‘check my internet speed’ but they were probably gaining access to my computer with other intentions.

picked up after 5 rings, the caller picked up as well and said nothing. I hung up. I expect marketing

Caller: someone claimed to be nbn security

said my IP address was being used in California by someone else. Said they had access to my financial details. Wanted to download an application called AnyDesk Remote Desktop - I guess this could give him access to my phone.

i picked up. heard a lot of background noise. I said hello. They said hello and then hung up shortly after

did not leave message - call back and the the number did not connect - fail call - so more thank likely a telemarketer - if it is important they should leave a message

Could hear noise and voices in background but no one spoke when I answered the call. I hung up after 10 seconds.
