Claiming there was internet problems; I said would use Telstra’s app and they said it would not fix problem; my internet is functioning; they did not use my name; I suspect scam

Missed call. No message left on voicemail. From reading the other comments. SCAMMER, SCAMMER, SCAMMER!!!!

Unanswered call, no message left. Blocking now after the above comments.

Called pretending to be NBN, said I don’t have an internet connection and they tried to tell me it was for my phone internet, clowns.

Called about my nbn and that it had some type of error. Scam, reported and blocked

Picked up the call, an man with Indian accent. I didn't speak and hung off, then block this number

Said they were calling about some suspicious activity on my internet account. Started asking questions, I said they should know that information not be asking me. They kept pushing me for information. I hung up.

Caller: This is a SCAM!!!

I have my phone set so that unknown callers go directly to voice message. Message left was a recording saying that it was e-bay calling to advise that a transaction of $199 was processed on my account and that I should call the number and press certain options if this was not me. I have blocked the number and you should too.

Pretending to be ambassy

Caller: Claimed to be from Commonwealth Bank

Claimed to be from the Commonwealth Bank. I asked them to repeat a couple of things and they hung up.

No message

Phone rang three times then disconnected, no message left. Obviously another scam, phishing call. Now blocked.

They left a voicemail saying hello, hello in an accent. I didn't bother calling back.

Takes a while to connects and sounds like they’re driving when they call. They say they’re from Telstra - I don’t have Telstra. Then they tell you Telstra services ALL networks, so I asked which one of my businesses he’s referring to. He said he’s calling about my connection, so again I asked which business he was talking about so I could check (obviously knowing it’s a scam) he then took a pause and hung up on me! Just be vigilant, Telstra definitely doesn’t have the monopoly over all internet providers so if you don’t have Telstra, you don’t have Telstra!
