They said they were from ebay and that my IP was public and someone was trying to make a purchase with my details. Two staff members provided me with the same number EIN(07) 7043 0924- based in the US yet they were calling from Sydney. Seemed a bit dodge. So I hung up.

They said they from ebay and that there were unauthorized orders from my account been placed. They asked me click some unknown link to check my IP address. Two staff members talked with me but they cannot give a good reason that why there is no record under my ebay account about the order they mentioned and why they need my IP to cancel these orders. Scam for sure.

Caller: No idea

Waited 5 second after answering and it hung up. Tried dialling back and it picked up then hung up.
