I often get calls in the late afternoon or early evening, and they never leave a message. This can happen daily, or fairly frequently during the week. The calls are from mobiles or landlines with similar prefixes. Occasionally they call in the morning on the same day as the evening or afternoon call, similar number but not exactly the same. But the late afternoon is the most common time.
