Caller: geoff same thing and i called trend micro. I gave him acces to my computer and he said the russians have hacked it and to pay him $399 to remove it. he rang from a silent no but i had rung trend no then he rang from the 02 number four times. smelt a rat!!

Caller: Geoff from Kaspersky Is he a scammer?? I rang Kapersky to advise a change in my email address. He needed me to be in front of my computer & rang me back after work. Remote access allowed. Seems I had ignored threats since Nov 22 and he said it was the Chinese infiltration like Optus deal. Then another tech was involved to do a level 3 clean up which would cost $399 but not until job was done. I took some pics of screen & emailed to computer guy I know who rang back saying to power off the computer.
