Got a call at my business from a foreign sounding guy apparently associated with the NBN wanting to speak to person in charge of phone accounts, I said they arent in and hanged up. He called back on a private number in 10 seconds with the same pitch, had to politely ask him not to call back and hanged up again. Waste of my time.

Annoying tel comm call. When I said I'm not interested thank you they hang up......

Caller: claimed to be from optus

wanted to do a free check for NBN. then wanted to make me NBN ready. setup a meeting blah blah. not actually from optus. just liars really.

Calls almost daily, every time I ask to be removed from call list then hang up, calls again 1 min later and hangs up on me.

anyone know of a way to shoot them over the phone ?

Very hard to understand - said he was from Optus - am I in charge of the telephone decisions - [I am with Telstra] - think he said someone would call round for 15 mins but couldn't quite make it out - so hung up

Received a phone call at work from this number. She advised me that she was from Trycon and wanted to speak the the person in charge regarding the phone services. Said the person in charge was busy and asked if they would like to leave a message, she abruptly just hung up on me after that was said. I believe this is a scam.

OPTUS he said he was from, was not clear on the phone to what he wanted, sound like he was reading from a script of some kind!

request to speak the one charge in telephone account. i said he is not in the office and ask her to leave a message or send details though email. caller paused few seconds and then resposne that ok, alright, byebye. it is not professional and polite. this must be a scam

This is a scam- i have got call everyday this week from this number - claiming to be optus business wanting to speak to the person in charge of the telephone accounts - i asked for them to send me an email so i can see the credentials - but go a response saying we do everything over the phone and in the meeting when we set it up.
They don't get the hint that we are not interested
I then tried to call the number back and it is saying that this number is not in service.

I answered the phone at work from this number, they didn't say anything and hung up 2 times. Then I get another call from a lady saying she is from Trycon asking to speak to someone who is in charge of the phone line, I asked what it was about and she said it was something about the NBN and no one is telling us about what is available to us, she wanted to send their specialist to our office to talk to us about it. I said I think if anything was happening with the NBN our provider would tell us and we are not interested. After a few minutes I get another call from same number, this time he says he is calling from Optus giving me the same kind of pitch again, I straight away said I'm not interested. Then a few minutes later I get another call from same number and sounded like the first voice again, she said something about the NBN again and I cut her off and said I'm not interested and hung up. Seems extremely dodgy and no way anyone would want to deal with a service provider that operates by deception.

Yes. Called saying he was from Trakon. That company does not seem to exist.

Just got a missed call, when attempting to call back there is a automated message saying the number is invalid.

She claimed she was from Command Digital but then when asked, didn't know how to spell it. Asked about our phone accounts so I hung up, and then she called back a few minutes later to try the same pitch again. When I told her bluntly I wasn't interested, she kept repeating 'but why you hang up?' until I did it again.
