Scammers asking for details, email adress etc.

Caller: Dawn/joan from CCS

Rang pretending i had been nominated as a contact person for someone i know (gave correct name) and asked if i could pass on their current contact details. When i said no, but offered to pass her number to them she agreed, but when i questioned what their full company name was she declined with claims of confidentiality. So i said well I ain't passing anything on and hung up.

Caller: Said her name was Joan from CCS

Have phoned our office repeatedly for information about an unconfirmed client. Would not say what their call was for. When we mentioned privacy laws & that we can't disclose information, she got aggressive and said she would keep calling until someone in our office slipped. Asked us to pass a message onto the client, we advised that we are not a messaging service.

Looking for some random name that doesn't live at the address they were asking about. I think they were just fishing for information

I missed the call but they left me a voice message...all I could here was someone breathing and I think chickens? So strange. I'll be blocking it!

asked for me by name but had the incorrect date and year of birth. told me she got my number from a public database. Suspect they are debt collectors trying to contact anyone with the same name as the debtor.

Received a silenced call from (02) 9030 5633, not picking up if iphone is silencing the number, no message left. States its from Sydney, NSW

Claimed to be from TICA. Asking for contact details for an individual. Lady with very strong Asian accent.

Heard rooster constantly in the background
Lady with a foreign accent

Caller: Village Scammer

Called the number back, The caller didn’t say a word. Just listening on.. It was eerie I didn’t know what I was listening to until I heard some roosters in the background. I’ve heard of these people calling from a laptop in a small village somewhere in India or SE Asia. SAD !
