Caller: 'People's Choice'

Indian female claimed I entered an online competition about 6 months ago. Told her I did NOT enter any online competition. Do they actually teach 'how to scam' in schools in India???

Caller: Telemarketer claiming to be “choice”

Called about being shortlisted for $1000 worth of groceries , then proceeded to try and sell me electricity. When i said no then asked for my licence or medicare number for entry verification....hung up on them at that point but they tried calling 6 TIMES leaving a “please just pick up the phone” voicemail. 100% a scam.

No answer and hangs up. Scam. I’ve had numerous calls coming from numbers starting with 02 9030... BLOCK.

Caller hang up when I answer. Must be another scam

Informed me I was in the Draw for a Bunnings Voucher from a online Peoples Choice competition from months ago......said it's understandable that i don't remember enetering and to keep me phone on me next week. I asked why for next week and she said that they may call as the 'winning person'. Needless to say the number is now blocked in my phone. I DETEST SCAMMERS.

Why is Optus allowing these Scam calls? It’s time they were shut down. Time to charge for every call they make. They are illegal - harassing and Telcos support them!!

Yes called, did not answer. Interesting, school on leave here, qld,. Catch 22, answer or ignore. I do not know the number so I don't answer any calls now, just texts.

Tried calling this number, but the call 'couldn't be connected'. I assume another number out of a batch has been sold by Telstra or Optus to these scammers. Wonder what the Telco Ombudsman is doing about managing the 'sale' of numbers to these organisations ???

I returned a call from this number (02) 9030 0069 but no one answered the call
