Being a legit number means nothing when scammers are simply spoofing these numbers to fool people.

Caller: Vodafone

Got a text from Vodafone a few days ago saying this number would be calling to talk through my plan. Just answered that number and it immediately hung up on me. I'm not interested in playing games, as it is my business line, so I've blocked the number. I'll contact them in store when I'm ready to have another look at my plan thanks.

Sent a text saying vodafone and they just rang me. There was no missed call and they want me to call back on this number to discuss my plan, data for a better deal.

This is actually a call from Vodafone it is listed on their website as one of the numbers you may receive marketing calls from.

However the caller was very pushy and does indeed sound like a scam, Very poor service from Vodafone.

Text message two days ago saying someone from Vodafone would ring to discuss new plan options. Since then had about 12 missed calls - thank goodness for the harassment filter. When and if I want anything different I'll go into their store.

Called the number back. Call could not be connected. I only use this number as Broadband so clearly a scam.

Asking my vodafone pin number to identify my identity so he can tell me about some offer.
That doesn’t sound right. If he is vodafone he already has my details, he knows how is calling to.
Looks like a scammer.

This number is just nuisance to me on my phone. Don't ring me any more!

Keeps calling my mobile, says it's vodafone, say I'm not interested and they ring back the next day

Same as everyone else. All numbers like this are blocked. If i want to change my plan I'd do it AND not via a phone call. If it's vodafone they're in breach of contract. Everyone needs to continue to report it even if it's believed to be them. Just imagine if your bank called and first thing they ask What's you PIN. Of course you'd give it, your bank is calling. No comment really. You would NOT give out your pin!

Scam. It's that time of the year again.. many scams

I got a call from this number. No one spoke - just silence. After 10 seconds I hung up and blocked the number

I didn't like the sound of it. So I checked the internet and I'm with you guys, it sounds like a scam. Vodafone would do well to alert all its customers of this.

don't answer this number, it's a scam

caller saying they were from Vodafone and wanted to upgrade my plan. Wanted me to share my pin with them. I hung up and blocked the number.

Caller hung up after 10 seconds, no response.

Called on both my mobile and on data service. They keep calling me so I blocked them.
