Caller: Tricom? Said something about NBN, bad connection, possibly overseas. Asked for their number, they gave me some 1300 thing. Just another pest.

Caller: Scammer I have had several calls from this number in the past week. I rang back today and connected with Premier a HSBC service. The chap I spoke to confirmed they are aware this is a call using HSBC's number to route calls? He informed me I need to call my service provider to report it. I find this all very odd? What the heck is the point of it all other than to annoy?

Has started to ring twice or more times a day for the last 3 days and as soon as we answer it, there is a pause of silence then they hang up.

Thickly accented caller with significant time delay asking to be put through to the person who handles internet access. They have called 3 times in 4 hours. Blocked them.
