They are under investigation aparently by the Australian Communications and Media Authority for this problem.
I think the public should give them a taste of their own medicine and SPAM them. Kidding ... kind of.

I also keep receiving these annoying calls from these two phone numbers to my mobile: (02) 9005 0360 and (02) 8282 2600
When I answer they hang up. They are both call centres.
Waste of time and so annoying. Surely there's an industry body out there that can stop this???

I'm getting these now too. three calls today from (02) 9005 0360 and (02) 8282 2600 its ridiculous. i also dont answer numbers that i dont know and now i'm glad i dont - gotta love google! :)

I just had this happen to me but I never actually answer numbers I dont know which led me to google it and found this run of messages.I can tell you what it is as the same thing happened some years back. It is an automated computer system that randomly dials mobile phone numbers to see if the number is being used by an actual person so they aren't getting our numbers from anywhere, we are just the lucky ones where they have guessed a number correctly. If you answer then you will be constantly called again and again inundating you with marketing calls. This is the reason why I don't answer numbers I don't know and I don't phone back numbers that don't leave a message. If someone wants ME then they will leave a message. I wont waste my good money ringing back if they haven't left a message.My office get calls from people saying they had a missed call from this number and as they try to figure out if it was actually meant for them they just sound like twits.

I too am getting these annoying calls. Isn't there a telecom ombudsman or something we can report the owner of this number to and get them busted?
