Caller: Kids Wish

Got a call from this number this morning, older man, announced who he was calling from, then wanted to have a conversation about how I was, I'm I coping with the lockdown etc, I hung up on him. I don't have time to have animated conversations with total strangers even in lockdown. My suggestion, come straight to the point of what you are trying to do, don't waffle on or try to be someone's long lost friend - you'll only get a mouthful of coarse abuse, the phone slammed down on you and a report/complaint on pages like this.

Caller impersonating Australian children's charity: scum of the earth scammers. No message left ergo ignore. Be good to see these people tracked down & jailed with hard labour.

Don’t answer any call that’s not in my phone book so these clowns are wasting their time calling me

When i answered hung up, number now blocked.

Very polite, but I've never heard of this company. I also don't know how they got my mobile number.

Caller: Charity

Called for donation to makeawish foundation, after exchanging the usual "how are you having a good week" they launched into the script spiel. Have blocked them.

Let it go to message and they dont speak. They are time wasters and like many before I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST

Been getting these calls for a year or more, I never answer, and block the calls but they still keep coming.

One of these called the other day, my mobile phone warns with "possible spam" or "possible fraud" with a lot of these calls

Home phone (NBN, went to voicemail... hung up straight away and did not leave message... checked this site and have now blocked.

Didn’t answer. Called right on 7:30pm. Seeing these reviews I’m glad I left it.

Caller: nuisance caller

This number calls me 3-4 times a week, sometimes more. This is after I have asked them to take me off of the list and stop calling me. there must be some law against this.

They went through my robo call filter to get me! Did not get time to answer but checking the above responses it appears these guys are pretty persistent!! I had to block the number.

This number call's our landline number all the time. I do not answer. We are on the Do Not Call register however I know that register does not apply to Charity's.

When I used to answer these calls I simply asked the called to remove my name from their contact list. I had a list of charities I supported.

Since the government does not support these charities they have to solicit for donations. Once I helped but I am now on a pension so no spare capacity at all.

Just say you're not interested. This is a legit Australian charity.

Told them it would be nice if they didnt call people who were on do not call register. I said I knew they legally could but would they please respect those who register. Put a note to them also on their website contact
