Indian accented male who said he was calling about my "mastercard visa". When I said I didn't have one of those cards, he asked me to confirm that I was a Commbank customer. When I said no quite bluntly he obviously realised I was onto him. I asked him where he was calling from he said "I'm calling from the back of your house". When I said "What?!!" he then said "I love your voice, it sounds like honey". At that point I told him I was calling the police and hung up on him. He used a very nasty sexually threatening tone because I am a female. Horrible experience.

You can usually tell when it is a phone number that you do not recognise... and although they are calling you, they are not on the line when you pick it up -- then you hear that it is a telemarketing room when they finally click on the call... it takes the overseas person a few extra seconds to say Hello. I tell them to remove me from their list & I block the number on my phone. I don't even give them the time to go into their LIES.

Be careful! Don't fall for their BS. No company that is honest would ever treat you the way these crooks & thieves do.

Caller: Some Indian guy

Claiming to be with VISA & MASTERCARD fraud department. Told me my card had recorded 2 suspect transactions from USA overnight and I would need to take action.
They appear to be learning as he told me that he would not ask for any numbers or CCV but he did want me to confirm which bank my card is with so he could transfer me to the right bank/department. When I told him I was not comfortable giving out ANY information on my account he got very abrupt and told me if I lose any money to fraud it will not be their fault and hung up. Clearly the plan was to pass me on to the "right people at my bank" and then ask the questions that would result in me being ripped off.

Caller identified as John Watson, but seemed to have a heavy Indian accent. Said that 2 purchases had been made overseas on my Commonwealth credit card.
I eventually said I did t have such a card and he got off quickly.

Claimed to be from Master and Visa Card Services Security Department.
There was background noise that sounded like audio feedback. I suspect the call was being recorded.
