This number appears to be part of the Uber Eats network. Most likely a driver trying to get in touch

As this isn't a recognised number, I called it back from my silent landline. The call seemed to connect but when I said "Hello" there was no reply and the number disconnected. Second time had the same result.

My phone flagged this number as suspected spam. I did not answer and they didn't leave a message. Number has been blocked.

Caller: They called themselves Uber Support

They called immediately after an Uber ride was booked. They asked for verification code sent to mobile phone and email address for ‘account security check’ purposes. They attempted to hack my uber account. They canceled the ride immediately after their call.
Do not give them any details!!!

The Uber driver called me through the Uber app as he was waiting for me at the front door and I wasn't there. The driver don't actually have your phone number, they just use the app that connects them to your phone if they need to talk to you.

Got called twice in a row. I see many people are saying they are Uber Eats but I have never once used that, and there is no reason they would have my number so I don’t believe that is who called me

This makes sense for me now, I had 2 calls around the time I was getting an Uber, I also had 2 messages on the app from the driver to say he had arrived, so I’m thinking they are linked
