It's amnesty. They've been calling since I signed a petition on the street last week about Burma. I was told they would only call to keep me informed, but they got through to my partner and asked for money. I think this is dishonest as I requested they do not ring, but send emails.

Record the time and duration of these incoming calls. Then when you have the details of at least 10 calls, send that list to your phone provider and they can take legal action.

The first time they receive a warning, then if they continue to call you, complain again and the caller will be disconnected.

I suggest we all do this to stop this annoying practice.

21.10.10 I didn't answer this on mobile and no 123 message was left.BUT within 10sec got a call on landline from "Make-a-Wish foundation"

The number is from 2Evolve,They're a company which NGOs outsource to for fundraising.seems that companies like the Starlight Foundation, Amnesty International and others outsource to them for help in getting more donations for their company.
