This was a return call from optus i placed an order with today and it was a confirmation call

I ordered a phone today and they called to confirm the purchase on this number - from Optus so it's not always sales calls...

This number belongs to an Optus call centre. As far as I know, it's not only the sales dept that uses this number to call out. Today I was contacted by the social media networking team to resolve a complaint I'd only lodged a few hours prior.

Just got spammed from this number

Suspect it is a call centre. No message left. Only had one call so far but I'm blocking them just to be on the safe side

They are collecting personal info but for what purpose? Called me to say that someone I had called and named the person - had called them to find out what my name was as he didn't recognize the phone number - I'd called my brother! I knew it wasn't true. I'm going to list them as a Do not answer on my phone as I do with all those stupid sales calls. They can ring as many times as they want and I just don't answer.

I have been called from this number twice a day for over a week now it's getting ridiculous now

2 missed calls from them and they didn't hang up so left 2 long voicemails. Sounds just like a call centre.

7 phone calls in two days, Saturday then Tuesday. No messages. three calls in two minutes.

I have been called by this number so many times now, I'm familiar with it and know not to answer. I called it back and it says to contact the sales department call on such and such number. Um, no thanks!

This number called me this morning when I picked up no one talked so I hung up. Tryed to call back but got this message - Optus advises that this number is disconnected please check the number and try again.

Its a number belonging to Optus.

This is quite frustrating. I have requested Optus to taken my number of their list but obviously the consumer's wishes are ignored!! Not to mention being continually harrased!

Yes I called it back and it says disconnected????
