Caller: Scammer I’m guessing

Called me about 6 times, 2nd last time they left a message after about 30 seconds, click click, then some noise, then a voice saying,
(No one there, don’t worry, don’t worry) then hung up.....scam as far as I’m concerned.
If vodaphone, Optus, Telstra or any other provider knows about these scam calls, why don’t they stop them..... is it because they are making money from them. Unless they leave a legit message or it’s a number that I know I do not answer. Still enoys me that the phone companies allow this to happen. So sad really, when there are a lot of legit companies that require donations for support like seeing eye dogs, wheelies, and the like. I bet they suffer.
Phone companies, please clean up this crap. A lot of people worried and just won’t answer odd ph calls.

Caller: Jacob

Young kid named Jacob put on a very good act. Felt bad for him so gave him a listen to. I should have hung up. You call the number back and get voice mail to call the 'Melbourne Branch' 86395200. Call that number and its the same voice mail saying to give the Melbourne Branch a Call.
If they can use the questions i did answer before it got out of hand then no one is safe anymore

someone from Engine Marketing called me a few days ago from this number (02) 8912 5631

Potential fraud, have rang me on 4 occasions now, just now rang me at 8.30 at night. Lucky my phone is on silent as my newborn has just gone to sleep.

Never answer this phone.

Hung up when I picked up.

I've had two calls from this number this week to my mobile number. All the other scammers call the landline! Clearly the phone pigs have been told not to leave a message. From reading these comments clearly it's not a call I should lose any sleep over.

Rings typically twice a week first time i answered it hung up scam block the number I have blocked it because it came up potential fraud. Do not answer

They hung up as soon as I answered. Annoying.

Called me today at 6pm, scam

Called me at 1pm - Sunday lunch time - on Mothers' Day. I missed the call so checked here first before calling back. Thanks everyone - saved me a wasted phone call.

3 calls in 2 weeks. Random times of the day and night. Never leaves a message. Callbacks go to a message service.

Caller named 'John' asked for personal details, got agitated when questioned so I ended the conversation with him nervously abusing me as i hung up the phone.

Legitimate company. Calling on behalf of The Australian Government conducting tourism research, info about the survey on the TRA website www.tra.gov.au/survey

This is not a real government number! The government may be pretty rubbish at the moment but even they wouldn't be so unreasonable to call people at all hours of the night... 4 calls in 3 days, all late in the evening. Scam
