Caller: Zain

Had a call from ‘Zain’ asking to put him in touch with a friend to discuss a private matter. Said he was in Sydney and could not disclose the nature of the private matter, but that my friend would know. Knew me by name as well as my phone number, and knew the full name of my friend. He sent me a text message instructing to call the landline number, and the text came from 0427 055 771.

Said he wanted to get in contact with someone I know and haven't seen in many years. Caught me half asleep and didn't give ant details.

Caller: Zane

Called a friend asking about information about me. Asking how many times they saw me ect. I called this number back and Zane answered. I asked him where he was calling from and he said a private company. Asked for my details to confirm who I was. I said I wouldn’t be giving any information until he identified the reasons he wanted to speak to me. He continued to ask for my private information. Ended the call. Definitely a scam!

Laken called from (02) 8898 0111 - wanting to track down neighbours details however would not disclose any information of who they were or why they wanted the details. Would not disclose how they got my phone number and knew my address. Not happy - ** BE AWARE **

Zain has been calling friends and family asking for my phone number, when I called him back in this number he had my incorrect middle name and was fishing for personal identification details. Saying they are a private company/call centre, don't believe a word they say!

They have called multiple members of both my family and my partners family looking for someone over a private matter. Huge breach of privacy going through people social media’s which are set to private and somehow getting our numbers. Hope this person gets caught for their bullsh*t. There is no private matters here when you breach privacy policies and get others involved. Scam for sure.
