I would say a scam

Caller: They refused to identify themselves

Trying to get personal details of someone I know.

This number called 3 times in a row. Came up as a scam call on my mobile. When I answered they wouldn't disclose who she was or who she worked for until I verified who I was, stating it was a serious personal matter. She also said they've tried contacting me via txt and email. All lies so I knew it was a scam and hung up.

Pretty sure it's debt collectors

Requested data about a neighbour or could be a roundabout way to get data out of me. Refused to say who they worked for other than a 'company from sydney'

Someone based in parramatta but didnt answer
