CTP scam

Scammer calling about an incident I reported. When I told them I had not reported anything they hung up.

English Man, told me he was ringing in regards to an accident I reported, when I said I don't know what your'e talking about he says 'oh well' and hung up???

Caller: Jack and then Haley

Scam CTP. Returned the call and they say "Follow Up Service"...Same bunch of english northerners...Probably backpackers...All a scam...becareful all.

they claimed they were calling about an accident. i exclaimed there was no accident. they then said i probably filled out a form on their website. i asked about the website address or the company name and they wouldnt answer. i then said that this was not only unethical but probably illegal and he told me the 'england owns peasant australia and they do what they like before hanging up"

I answered the call, foreign voice said is it possible to speak with (my name), I replied and said 'speaking', they then hung up.

Caller: Said his name was Jack

English guy (scouser) called me asked if I was Mary-Anne and when I said no he hung up. I called him back and he said the company was CTP (Compulsory third party) I asked if it was insurance, he said yes and I asked him to take me off the register. He said ok and then hung up on me. SO STRANGE! if it's a scam why do they always hang up?

English speaking woman advised she was from CPT in relation to a car accident. When I asked if this was the accident where I was owed a million in compo she asked if my name was Rachel. I said no, wrong number.

answered but did not speak to anyone I just let it get to see how long it was before they hung up it was one minute one second a new record when they hung up I blocked the number as it is a scam

Caller: CTP scam

After the person said who they were from I hung up.

English guy called me, Asking for a John. I said it wasnt John speaking, gave me some surname for the John and said it was in regards to an accident. I advised this was my work number, and it might be an old employee. I asked when the accident was, and he said "thats why I am calling to find out the date".. i would say scam! I asked what company and he said he was from a processing, follow up company.

Caller: Some guy with English accent

I answered the phone he said hello and hung up. Called back, English lady answered said she was from CTP as I had a car accident in the last 12 months. I told her I had not had an accident and she said the had been "given" the wrong information.
I told her to stop trying to scam people and she got very aggressive with me.

I answered the phone with "Hello", there was a pause and then a male voice said hello and then the line went dead.

Caller: English lady (could hear other voices in the background)

Scam. After a pause she said she was from CTP and was calling about a car accident that I had in the last 12 months.

When I asked where the accident was she hung up.

Caller: They said CTP

I've had a number of these calls saying it was about a car accident and I always hang up on them but his time when I said "Are you gong to tell me I was in a car accident"? He said "No, then said my whole name and then hung up. It's distressing that they know our names.

English voice- told him I was on the no call list - he said he had the wrong number and called me a derogatory name before hanging up

Caller had English accent Said he was calling from CTP. Asked for a Jennifer (not my name). I said no that's not me and hung up
