They claimed it was an investment company, got angry when I told them I was not going to follow the link they asked me to follow and hung up.. I believe it is a scam as the number is no results on this lookup.. Be wary... If it was a real investment company the number would register on this lookup..

I just got a call from this number, the guy said he was from Trading Education or something and knew my name (I could immediately tell this was a scam). He asked if I've ever traded on the stock market and what I do for a living. When I demanded to know how he got my number he started screaming at me (and stuttering) demanding to know what I do for a living and yelling at me for not listening. I yelled back at him, called him a scammer and a piece of sh*t - he hung up on me.

Same experience as the previous commenter. I hung up on them and blocked their number.

I ignored the number. This is great googling and finding this post.
But be wary, so many scams going around during this COVID-19 climate, pretending to be tax office/government.

they know my name and title, he said he was calling on behalf... then I hung up.

Left no message, so treating as scam. Appears active again after a hiatus of more than 2 years.

Like similar comments on this page, when i ask the caller how they got my number or not to call my again, they get abusive. I have blocked their number (several times) but they keep calling on different extensions

Came up on my phone as potiential fraud

Missed call on 02/06/2020 around 5:40pm. Attempted to call back but just got silence - call didn’t connect. Get this number or very similar about once a week lately - how can I stop this and where do they get my number?!?

Called myMobile at 7:35pm 28/5/20 didn’t leave a message. Pests.
Even if it was a scam, which is most likely, they wouldn’t get very far.
I’d ask for their private number
& say,
“hey, I’m busy now but I’ll back later.”

Rang at 7:30 pm.After answering was a delay then a very fast talking lady telling me she was going to help me invest all my money.She never drew breath but spoke even quicker and voice became very strained, loud and agitated when I politely asked them not to call again.

Investment company that was rude when I asked to be removed from their database and hung up on me

Called at midnight, claimed to be from trader education wanting to assist me with the stock market . Became abusive

Rang at 12.30 am . When I asked did he realise he was calling me at midnight and that I was going to call the police because he woke me up, he got Upset and yelled at me, “I’m calling to help you, why you call the police, I’m trying to help you, the stock market just opened up” bla bla , he yelled in a drunk sounding voice and then when I put him on speaker phone and my partner and I were laughing at him, he hang up. It came up as a sydney number but Unable to call the number back and no registered business by that name. A very bad scan. Lucky I wasn’t really asleep or I’d have been pissed off

I received a call from this number but my phone flagged it as potential fraud and as I don't know any (02) numbers I rejected it unanswered. I'm glad I did after reading these posts.

she was a female asking me the same thing, but I told her I was not the person she was asking for. but they sure insist that I'm wrong. it is absolutely a scam and carefully do not fall for it.
