Caller: Local Liberal MP

This was a robocall that started with a recorded message from the local MP inviting to participate in a live supposed "town hall" with the PM if you held the line. Surprised and intrigued I stayed on and it joined a conference call with the PM already waffling. The whole thing was clearly a scripted event with the local MP introducing various callers (I suspect local party members) who asked their obviously prepared questions and the PM launched into his obviously prepared answers (with a few local references shoehorned in awkwardly). Some of the questions were designed to not appear supportive but were clearly planned to reflect views of middle ground disaffected voters so the prepared response could come in and make people feel warm and fuzzy, but there was literally no hard questions and since this environment was devoid of scrutiny, some of the answers given were free and loose with the facts.

Appeared to be a microtargeted damage control operation over the PM's poor handling of the pandemic to scrub his mistakes from people's memory. You were invited to dial 0 to ask a question but that appeared to be more or less leaving a voicemail for their marketing team to deal with later - all questions in the event were very clearly choreographed.

This is meant to feel interactive but it really isn't - it's just a performative modern political robocall made to feel more personable.

Constantly calling and scamming trying to convince staff to log in to our uber, they become very aggressive to staff huge waste of time.
