Someone claiming to be from the Australian Tax Office left a message with this number to call back on. He claimed that we had a law suit against us for tax evasion and a police officer was going to be coming to our house to issue us with a warrant for our arrest. The person had either an Indian or South East Asian accent. I won't be calling back!

Just had a call from this number and the man claimed to be Aussie Method (which I googled at the same time and it's a scam). I told him I already knew this was a scam and hung up. He then called back from (02) 8488 0923 and said "did you just hang up in my face?" "Are you not a polite man?" "why did you sign up with us if you don't want to speak with me?"... I hung up again.. he called again and I just said "F*ck off" and hung up the phone. He called again and I answered the phone and and held it without saying again.. on loud speaker he was shouting my name and saying he knows I can hear him!!! DO NOT TAKE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER!!!

I had same call this morning - wanted me to call back (02) 8880 0348.
With all the technology these days, why is it that our authorities cannot track these a-holes and arrest them instead.

Wow just got this same cal today and he left a message, said his name was Jason O Connor from the Australian Taxation Office and the local police would be coming to arest me! Jason with an indian accent..

Just received a voice message from these clowns claiming a TAX debt and that police will be around with a warrant for my arrest...Indian/Asian accent asking to call back. I called back on a secure phone and the number, according to Optus, is not in service.

Same as Jodie - but I spoke to them and told them that they are a fraud. Had an Indian accent. He knew my name. He told me that a police officer was being sent to arrest me for tax evasion. He didn't buckle when I told him that he was a fraud and I knew it was a scam. So I just hung up on him.
